This policy covers the website at huitiwen.cn and the iOS app Ask Why (Chinese name 会提问), published as part of the Question Everything / 会提问的人 program. Neither one asks for a name, an email, an account, or a birthday. Neither one sends anything about your child anywhere. 本政策适用于 huitiwen.cn 网站,以及作为「会提问的人 / Question Everything」课程一部分发布的 iOS 应用「会提问」(英文名 Ask Why)。两者都不要求填写姓名、邮箱、账号或出生日期,也都不会把孩子的任何信息发送到任何地方。

So a child can stop and come back, the app saves three things in the device's own app storage: which units have been finished, how many stars each earned, and whether English or Chinese was chosen. That is the complete list. It stays inside the app's own storage on that device, it is not backed up to any server of ours, and deleting the app deletes it. 为了让孩子可以中途停下、之后接着玩,应用会在设备自身的应用存储中保存三样东西:哪些单元已完成、每个单元获得几颗星、以及选择的是英文还是中文。这就是全部内容。它保存在该设备上应用自己的存储空间内,不会上传到我们的任何服务器;删除应用即删除这些数据。
The reflection step of each unit asks a child to think, say, or write an answer on paper. The app deliberately provides no text box and saves no written answers. 每个单元的「反思」环节请孩子思考、说出来,或写在纸上。应用刻意不提供输入框,也不保存任何书面回答。
The online course and quick-practice mode use the browser's
own localStorage to remember the same kind of thing: units
completed, stars, and the language preference. There are no tracking cookies,
no forms, and no accounts. Clearing your browser data clears it.

One honest note about hosting: the site is served as static files by a hosting provider, and like any web server, that provider processes the ordinary request information needed to deliver a page — such as your IP address and browser type — under its own privacy terms. The course teaches children how to judge AI answers, and the robot character "Robo" appears throughout — but Robo is not a live AI. The app is made for children aged roughly 6–11 and is designed so that the question "what do you do with my child's data?" has a simple answer: there is no child data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age. This approach is intended to satisfy children's privacy rules including the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK/EU rules on children's data under the GDPR, and China's Personal Information Protection Law together with the Provisions on the Cyber Protection of Children's Personal Information. There are none inside the app: no ad networks, no analytics providers, no crash reporters, no social logins, no cloud storage. Nothing is shared with anyone, because nothing is collected. 应用内没有任何第三方:没有广告网络、没有统计分析服务、没有崩溃上报、没有社交登录、没有云存储。我们不与任何人共享数据,因为我们什么都没有收集。
Because the only data is on your own device, you are already in control of it. Delete the app to remove the app's saved progress. Clear your browser's site data for huitiwen.cn to remove the website's saved progress. There is no request to make of us, and no copy of it on our side. 由于唯一的数据就在你自己的设备上,控制权本来就在你手里。删除应用即可清除应用内保存的进度;清除浏览器中 huitiwen.cn 的站点数据即可清除网站保存的进度。你无需向我们提出任何申请,我们这边也没有任何副本。
If the app ever gains a feature that changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
